Linuxmint 7, Skype, Problems with sound.

I was trying to use Skype to talk to family and I was having problems with the microphone. Of course I tryed different options I found on the internet but the solution below was the only one that worked for me. My other sound applications are working great and in some cases better. For example I like to play with VMware Player virtual machines and virtual machine seem to have better sound after this fix.

Instructions: Load a Terminal Windows and run commands below

1. killall pulseaudio
2. sudo apt-get remove pulseaudio
3. sudo apt-get install esound
4. sudo rm /etc/X11/Xsession.d/70pulseaudio
5. Reboot

That's it.
